The University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD) Library began its operations alongside the establishment of the University. Currently located within the Faculty Building, the University Library plays a vital role in supporting teaching, learning, and research activities across the University. The University Library is designed to provide access to a wide range of information resources and a conducive space for study, collaboration, and academic engagement. It serves students, faculty, researchers, administrators, and staff, supporting their academic and research pursuits.

Beyond the University community, the library also extends its services to external users, including teachers and students from other institutions, alumni, government officials, and international visitors, in accordance with the library’s rules and regulations. The library operates an open-shelf system, allowing greater accessibility to its collections. Materials are organized and classified using the Library of Congress Classification Scheme for easy navigation. The library’s holdings include a diverse collection of physical books, e-books, journals, e-journals, newspapers, and other learning materials, ensuring that users have access to a wide array of resources to enhance their knowledge and support their academic journey.
