The University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD) has officially deployed
Drillbit Plagiarism Software, a powerful academic integrity tool designed to strengthen
plagiarism control and detect AI-generated content across students’ and faculty’s academic
work.
This initiative reflects UESD’s commitment to promoting original scholarship, ethical research
practices, and quality academic output in teaching, learning, and research.
With Drillbit, users can:
✅ Detect plagiarism accurately across multiple sources
✅ Identify AI-generated or AI-assisted content
✅ Improve originality and citation practices
✅ Uphold academic honesty and institutional standards
Academic Staff are kindly requested to set up their Drillbit accounts by following the
instructions sent via email by the Software Administrator.
The University Library, in collaboration with relevant units, will continue to provide guidance
and support to ensure effective use of the software.
