The Human Resource Division is under the Registrar’s Office. The Division envisions developing world-class human resource to propel their capabilities in meeting the mandate of the University as established by law.
Vision: To provide services in HR for efficient service delivery and employee development.
Mission: To emphasize strategic and progressive practices in the delivery of human resource services.
Objective: To employ and train the needed Human Resource for the University to achieve its mandate.
Principles: Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, Commitment, and Empowerment (TRICE).
Responsibilities:
- Custody of employee records;
- Salary Administration, Pension Schemes, Compensation and Benefits;
- Provision of support on university sponsored health, welfare, and retirement benefit plans;
- To work on Leave matters (i.e. Leave of Absence, Annual, Casual, Sick, Maternity, Sabbatical, Study, etc.)
- Monitoring of staff attendance
- To assist with effective conflict management;
- Handle Union matters;
- Handle Conditions of Service matters;
- Labour Law and compliance.

- Recruitment, Promotions and Separations Unit; and
- Training and Development Unit
