The Department of Geography and Earth Sciences develops programmes that aim at producing graduates with holistic appreciation of environmental conditions of the earth (place) as well as the relationship between people and their environments, and how problems relating to the environment can be addressed through innovative scientific solutions in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
